A new home for Harvest Church. A renewed vision for reaching Conway.
The first Christians didn't have a church building. They had a mission.
They gathered together, shared their lives, cared for one another, and carried the message of Jesus into their communities. Their faith wasn't confined to a weekly gathering. It was something they lived every day.
At Harvest Church, we believe that same mission is alive today.
And now, we're stepping into an exciting new chapter.
Introducing the 378 Renovation Project!
Harvest Church is preparing to establish a permanent home along Highway 378 in Conway, South Carolina. But before we talk about construction, renovation, or fundraising, we want to make one thing clear:
This isn't about four walls. It's about people.
A Building With a Bigger Purpose
For 37 years, this building along Highway 378 has been a familiar presence in the community. Now, we have an opportunity to extend that legacy and create a place where people can encounter Jesus, find belonging, and discover their purpose.
Our vision isn't simply to create a place where people attend church on Sundays.
We want to create a place that equips people to live their faith every day.
A place where friendships begin, families grow stronger, and people who have felt overlooked discover that they matter.
A home base for a church committed to being in our community, for our community.
Five Ways We Envision the Future
The 378 Renovation Project is guided by five purposes that reflect who we are and what we believe God is calling us to do.
1. A Place to Connect
Imagine walking into church as a stranger and leaving with the beginnings of a friendship.
Through welcoming worship spaces and common gathering areas, we want to create opportunities for genuine relationships to develop and grow.
Because church should be more than a place where people sit together. It should be a community where people know and care for one another.
2. A Place to Equip
Faith isn't meant to remain within the walls of a church.
We envision spaces where children, teenagers, and adults can explore God's Word, develop their gifts, and grow as followers of Jesus.
Our goal is to equip people not simply to learn about their faith, but to live it.
3. A Beacon of Hope
Located along Highway 378, the building offers a visible presence in the heart of our community.
We want that presence to represent something meaningful: a place of hope, encouragement, and welcome.
A reminder that no matter someone's story, there is a place for them to experience the love of Jesus.
4. A Place to Launch
Our mission doesn't end at the church doors.
We want this building to become a home base for serving Conway and the surrounding communities.
A place where people gather to be encouraged and equipped, then go out to love their neighbors, serve others, and share the hope of the gospel.
5. A Place to Care
Perhaps most importantly, we want this to be a place where people who feel forgotten, disconnected, or overlooked know they belong.
Imagine a child hearing for the first time that God loves them.
A teenager walking through the doors and discovering a community that knows them by name.
A family finding encouragement during a difficult season.
These are the moments that matter.
These are the people we're building for.
More Than Sundays
Throughout Harvest Church's journey, we've seen what God can do through simple moments of connection.
Prayers have been shared. Tears have been shed. Friendships have formed. People have encountered the hope of Jesus.
Now imagine what becomes possible with a permanent place to gather, grow, and serve.
Imagine the relationships we can build with families in the neighborhoods surrounding the building.
Imagine the opportunities to welcome people who have felt disconnected from church.
Imagine a community where faith isn't limited to Sunday morning, but shapes the way we live every day.
That's the vision behind the 378 Renovation Project: a daily revolution that's more than Sundays.
Help Us Build What's Next
We invite you to be part of this next chapter.
Pray. Pray for wisdom, provision, and the people whose lives will be touched through this ministry.
Give. Consider how you might financially support the renovation and help create a space for future generations.
Serve. Explore opportunities to invest your time, talents, and gifts in the mission.
Because buildings alone don't change communities.
People who love Jesus and love their neighbors do.
Acts 2:47 reminds us that the early church experienced God at work in their community day by day.
What if we could see that same spirit of connection, growth, and transformation throughout Conway?
Not four walls. For people.
And together, we're building toward what comes next.
